Everyone has their own dark side.

In expanding the traditional Starka (the oldest Lithuanian bitter) family, Starka Darkside – a dark and mysterious beverage with a specific taste – was created. Slowly matured in oak and enriched with the aroma of smoked spices and the smoke of roasted oak.

In developing the product design, we strived to convey the unique taste properties. The dark, deep black colour turning into a smoky grey palette and enriched with gold foil accents gave even more mystery to the intense ornamentation. Continuing the Starka legend, a mysterious stork character was created. Through the magic of symbols and the spells of the black stork, Starka’s dark side unfolded in a distinctive mystical form.
