Coco Aurum is a health and beauty brand. Madeline Nettell developed the brand with the purpose of providing a natural ingredient based product for the entire family to use. The natural ingredient Madeline Nettell chose, after much research, she knew needed to be prominent was roman chamomile. Chamomile has a variety of health benefits. Benefits from chamomile are relaxation, stress and anxiety relief, relief of inflammation, cramps, and mild skin conditions. Because of these benefits and she had three bottles to design she selected a shampoo, lotion, and sunscreen. A shampoo Madeline Nettell believed would be an excellent way to allow chamomile to relax your body and mind relieving stress and anxiety. While the lotion and sunscreen would be great for noninflammatory results, pain relief, and skin healer.

Roman Chamomile was a huge inspiration for not only the ingredients but the design and illustration too. Madeline Nettell thought about how she could introduce roman art characteristics into my design. She chose to do so through the logo mark, geometric roman patterns, and bright colors. Each bright color is associated with a specific product on their bottles and boxes.

The packaging Madeline Nettell wanted to be different than what you’d see in store. So, the box for each of the products can be opened by sliding the top colored bar up and down for the product to slide in and out of making it easily accessible.

What’s Unique?
What is unique about this packaging is the upper colored bar at the top of each outer package slides up and down to allow the bottle to slide in and out of the box.
