I designed several square labels for a London dry gin brand named ‘Four Wings’. The labels have as their main focus point hand-drawn pen and ink illustration of butterflies, painted later on digitally. To the entire label, I have applied a color similar to that of the featured butterfly and a vintage treatment. The direction of the labels is playful but focused on integrity due to the more solemn serif used for the logotype. The intricacy of the illustrations connects with the target audience, communicating warmth, authenticity, and appreciation for the craft of distillation.
