Honoring hand-made and high quality products, OHDE revitalizes the over 250 year old tradition of marzipan production in Berlin Neukölln. Friedrich Wilhelm I. with his social commitment in Rixdorf (part of Neukölln) serves as a role model for the social commitment of OHDE in Neukölln. The classical branding in combination with bright and vivid colors create a connection between tradition and the brand’s new creative flavor compositions. The packaging has not only a clear and valuable design, it is also sustainably produced. Our aim was to create a new visual identity that stands out in the world of marzipan.

What’s Unique?
There is no plastic tray which is often used in this industry, the non-toxic printing colors are food-safe and nature-friendly. Instead of hot foil stamping, we used blind stamping in order to create high-quality packaging while making sure to keep it recyclable. Also, in the spirit of Friedrich Wilhelm I., OHDE supports social projects especially for young people in Berlin Neukölln. Therefore they donate part of their profit.
