We had to pick a chit and based on the animal we got, do branding and packaging for a product. The creature that I ended up getting was the Japanese Spider Crab. I had to research on its characteristics and match it to a product accordingly.

Krabé is a hypothetical luxury champagne company inspired by the features of the Japanese Spider Crab. It has two kinds of champagne, The Gold Flake Rosé and The Extra Bubbly Brüt. Krabé champagne is for sophisticated and adventurous people.

For the logo, I tried integrating a crab with a bubble (bubbles are what champagne is famous for).
I chose cherry blossom and black colour for the packaging. Since it is inspired by the Japanese crab, Japan is famous for its cherry blossom trees and black fits with the fact that it is a luxury product.

The side part of the box has champagne written in Japanese with gold foiling.

What's Unique?
What makes it unique and stands apart from every other champagne house is the extraordinary range of champagne which is like no other and first of its kind. Its extra bubbly-ness is inspired by the sharp claws of the crab, it makes one have a tingling sensation on the tongue and the gold flake rosè is inspired by the specks on the crab. The packaging design makes it look like it's rooted in France but inspired by Japan. It's clean and minimal look with a small element of fun makes it attractive to the young and old champagne aficionados.
