A fun outrageous take..on the take away classic McDonalds! This is a family treat and favourite to many, but some of that random unique branding got lost in the marketing machine so we got a little weird with it. The cups in the 80’s had a random repeat pattern and were so unique and unlike the rest of the branding that they themselves become iconic, and we feel they should bring them back! With an update and a cheeky message about littering! What the 80’s lacked was an emphasis on re-usable, sustainable materials and I feel like the design of the 80’s paired with the paper cups would be fun even for and anniversary of the the brand. The over the top massive arch drawings that the McDonalds brothers had designed for them for the first restaurant inspired the retro take on the golden arch. Love it or hate it experimenting with the “untouchable” classics is always impactful and food for thought.

What’s Unique?
The pairing of the 80’s cup design elements with the paper recyclable cups of today!
