Vulcăneşti is a small town situated at the very South of Moldova, in the region Gagauzia. This is a picturesque hilly location, without any industrial objects, loud highways and large production unities. Only endless vineyards. The history of winemaking in Gagauzia has more than 5 thousand years, so it is not surprising that many natives make their own wine, observing traditions carefully passed on from generation to generation.

A hereditary winemaker Radu Ieşeanu continues the family tradition of winemaking for many years. From the grapes of local varieties he creates the wine that brings joy and fun to every house.

«This wine is made in my wine cellar (crama) in vicinity of Vulcăneşti from the own carefully selected grapes of the local varieties, with all my heart. It is destined for drinking either in a large company of goods friends on the occasion of welcome meeting or in solitude. According to local custom, the glass of wine is passed with both hands, from hand to hand to all guests in the circle, especially during the spending time outdoors near the fire». Radu Ieşeanu.
