Nostrum is a skincare line, launched in Japan, with pure ingredients and Mediterranean scents being its essentials. TBD was asked to rebrand the face, body and hair line, a typographic system, a logotype and supportive material, that work together in order to prioritize and emphasize information. A typographic layout aims to highlight the minimal natural footprint of the products and create a series of products, by glorifying each product natural contents, while one helps visually the other, creating the whole as a solid collection. As for typography is concerned, GT Sectra was chosen as the most appropriate, for its contemporary calligraphic details, of the broad nib pen with the sharpness of the scalpel knive. The overall identity was supported also by the usage of Petit Nuage, a typeface carefully crafted by Greek type designer, Konstantina Louka.
