Primary Packaging
The Perfect Diary custom-tooled, and School House designed, product family combines disruptive elements with an understated sense of luxury to balance visual engagement with approachability.

Mixing shapes—ellipse and hexagon—create an artful silhouette. The elongated forms are smooth and seamless. Gold debossing accents the black for a luxe mood.

What's Unique?
An elegant system of hexagonal base shapes that are extruded and custom for each component in the cosmetics line. The lipstick bullet accentuates the thinnest point at the top, and thicker at the base, for a perfect selfie. Eyeshadow palettes can take on imagery in a trap underneath the clear top.

Carton Design
This design flaunts clean typesetting while giving prominence to the Perfect Diary logo. Color matched tops and patterned interiors give the chic, black packaging a surprise element. While the final result was more traditional—in our process we explored some elaborate unboxing experiences. We looked at perforated tear-aways, pedestal boxes and blossom boxes.
