MARLBORO Repurposed Branding Experiment

This was an experiment by our agency back in early 2019 looking at how iconic brands with some of the best and strongest appeal in history can be repurposed now they are used no more.

The taboo smoking industry advertising that has been banned in Australia for some time now left behind some amazing branding and graphics never to be seen again. What we wanted to do was see if the brands and graphics could translate to the everyday product packaging and still have that same tempting appeal. We chose Marlboro because of the bold branding and the smoke appeal that could lend itself to a hot pizza. This is something our agency has been experimenting with for some time now just for brand’s sake.
