Mary & George is an entrepreneurial brand inspired in the love story between Mary Hatch and George Bailey, masterfully told in 1946 by Frank Capra, in the movie It’s a Wonderful Life. They found the way to put together two wonderful and different lives as we put together at Mary & George, two such different products: the original Italian gelato and the taste of the best liqueurs of the world. This is how “the gelato society” was born and only those who believe in this wonderful wonderful match, can belong to it.

What’s Unique?
We wanted to make a colorful brand that would project the joy that comes from eating gelato, but since we use alcohol, we needed to make a great connection with adults who also happen to be the ones who find the language of our typography familiar as it is inspired by the look of vintage ice cream vans.

To make it spicier, we look for a twist in the name of every flavor to make it playful.

Integrating it all, we gave it a matte finish with a subtle UV reserve and an elegant golden foil in the cap that delivers a unique high end product that elevates the experience of gelato and alcohol, to a whole new level.
