Introducing Bayab gin, the newest family member of South Africa based, Spearhead Spirits. Boldly, a small design agency in London had the pleasure of naming, branding and packaging this exciting new product. The name Bayab is inspired by a key ingredient - the fruit of the Baobab tree. Being a palindrome, the name reads the same backwards and forwards - reflecting the way the iconic baobab tree is a mirror image of itself with branches that look like roots! The ‘Y’ at the heart of the logo is intentionally asymmetric, representative of the bloated and bulbous baobab trunk.
