A talking box
One day we received a call from the Tenuta Cocci Grifoni winery to conceive a box for the Guido Cocci Grifoni Offida DOCG Pecorino wine. That was the day we started talking and we haven’t finished yet.

This is a story about the wine and more over the story of Guido which crossed the limits and challenged a new way of thinking. This project involved the team so much that we wanted to reveal it to everyone, or at least to know that everyone had the chance to see and hear about it. That’s why we decided to transform the box into the narrating voice of the winery.
The story, is shown on all parallel piped surfaces, thus transforming the cardboard box beautifully and intriguingly for the customer. Something that is usually a mere logistical support, is a tool for communication of the brand’s core. To help all interested parties, we suggest three different levels for a in-depth analysis:
- The first one, the more evident, which is made of illustrations of the most important events of the whole story
- The second one made of keywords and of brand’s values
- The third one illustrates the whole story of the winery.

This is how the “talking box” was created.

It is a collage of communication techniques, emotions, informations, dates and of explanations that run after each other on the whole surface of the box. It is a way to reach awareness and knowledge of the product and of the company which directly talks to the customer. It is not a message in a bottle, but rather a message directly applied to the bottle. And it appears completely clear to us that the circle company – client – product is perfectly closed.
