This project is about recreating a simpler packaging for the medicine, mainly raises awareness for the problem of anemia, called ‘I.Z. Globin ‘produced by the company ‘Pharaonia Pharmaceuticals’ which is one of the top 30 pharmaceutical companies in the Egyptian market that was founded in 1997. The new package primarily focuses on the red blood cells and the medicine’s functions.

The old packaging was crowded, the visuals were not related to the medicine ‘sunsets’ making the design incomprehensible. The most important element in the redesigning process was creating two silver stripes on the side, printed on each pack which created an identity for the brand in a simple, distinguishable way. An uplifting for the logo was created to make it cleaner and simpler while leaving the main elements of the old one.

What’s Unique?
What makes the packaging unique is its simplicity and legible text with the plain background making it easier for the eye to find the important information. Pharaonia pharmaceuticals has a huge credibility amongst its customers so the new design shows the ingredients clearly. The visuals on the pack describe the red blood cells in order to identify quickly what the medicine is about which also did not exist in the last medicine. The pack can be conveniently and safely carried in a bag which increases its durability
