Brief:
Redesign a packaging for a chocolate brand, making the experience better for the user.

Why Re-design?
Amul chocolates have been widely and easily available for a long time now, however, when chocolates come to mind, Amul as a brand is not one to come up often. Amul being a dairy brand and a very reliable Indian company, it is surprising how we cannot associate it with chocolates, given that it has a wide variety of flavors available.

Inspiration:
Stories. We all love to love to read, listen to or narrate stories. Narratives are the basis of communication. What better way to make people take notice of you than telling them your story?

Problems targeted:

  • Shelf presence for better noticeability
  • Eating portion sizes of dark chocolate for storage and portability
  • Better rear information categorization

Area of Focus:

  • Story narrative
  • Opening and storage based on eating portions
  • Environmentally conscious packaging

What’s Unique?
The Amul dark chocolate packaging is not only a conversation starter, it is better for user experience, and is environmentally sustainable.
