Herpac is a traditional canned fish brand from the Strait of Gibraltar, an area with internationally highly valued wild red tuna from Almadraba. The new packaging of this well-known brand reflects the tuna´s journey to these seas. The illustration shows the sea and the Strait from the tuna´s viewpoint created as an old engraving. This provides an artisanal touch that reflects Herpac’s products approach: use of the most sustainable ancestral techniques, combined with efficient and responsible use of new technologies. The chosen fonts follow the same classic and traditional concept adding a fresh and modern touch. The use of matte finishes contrasted with the gold-patterned “porthole” window infuses this high-quality seafood product with a certain fantasy, whilst maintaining the philosophy of the local.
