Saarioinen has positioned itself as food made by Saarioinen mothers since 1957. They set out to outdo themselves by collaborating with a well-known Finnish chef Sikke Sumari to revisit the most delicious Italian recipes with a Finnish twist. Inspiration for the dishes came from Sikke Sumari’s travels around Italy, and now they have been made with Saarioinen mothers using the best quality ingredients, such as organic meat and Finnish fish. Fusing the creative essence of Sikke Sumari with Saarioinen’s style was a team effort, the fruit of a rewarding process to strike the right balance between a personal and a corporate brand.

What’s Unique?
If there is something that sets Sikke Sumari’s cuisine apart, it is the passion and creativity that goes into everything she does. For this reason, the design references the image of Sikke Sumari swept up in a moment of inspiration, cooking with the aroma of basil and freshly chopped tomatoes in the air, accompanied by the rhythmic sound of boiling pasta about to be cooked al dente. These creative moments have been captured through the ease and modernity of Saarionen’s designs, as well as a mouth-watering shoot of the final dish. The rest of the design highlights different personal details from Sikke Sumari, so that the final brand essence now gives an even greater sense that the ready meals are “personally made for you”.
