Our client, the Viharsarok Brewery, created an Easter Holiday special. The Eggnog-inspired Kveik Milkshake IPA is a limited edition craft beer with authentic spices from this classic holiday drink.

The inspiration for the design came from patterns of Hungarian Easter Egg painting and Hungarian Easter traditions. On this holiday, men read a short, quirky poem to women in their community, asking whether they may water them, and in exchange, they pick a pretty, hand-painted Easter egg. Many poems have similies, linking women to blooming flowers.

What’s Unique?
The label is textured in a way that resembles the look and feel of an actual egg, created with heat and water-resistant base and matte finish. We printed the patterns on the label with 3D varnish foil, so its smooth and shiny surface contrasts the textured, matt feel of the rest of the design.
