Gaki means hungry ghost in asian religions a mythological animal of the asian folklore. So we created this project inspired by Japanese pop culture and Kawaii concept. Due to pandemic, we have designed our brand to be online only. We generally worked in simple , fun and colorful design language. We created a kawaii character to generate an immediate recognition of the our brand by the customers. We also designed social media and a website that showcases Gaki Asian Cuisine tastefully and playful world.

We designed our logo for the brand inspired by the nigiri form and the concept of hungry ghost. We used orange as the main color. In general, we used the idea of a hungry ghost in packaging designs. While designing our sushi box, we wanted to make our box look like sushi with a typographic application. If we were a customer, what kind of packaging design would we be interested in? We decided to design a sticker. We aimed to reflect pop culture with sticker designs.

We wanted to develop a different concept from the sushi restaurants in our country. and we created Gaki. (We also love Asian cuisine) For this project, which is our graduation project, we worked as two designers in an energetic mood.
