Velvet Glove

Velvet Glove

Velvet Glove
The Velvet Glove, the flagship of the Mollydooker wines. Only the very best of Sarah and Sparky’s creations become The Velvet Glove. To keep consistency with previous Mollydooker packaging Mash again used an illustrative approach. This time an illustrated 1920’s left hand glove was created. The name lent itself beautifully to a velvet paper stock. Mash eventually chose an imported black velvet stock and then silver foiled the details over the die cut glove shaped label. The rather unique imported bottle was wax dipped.

Designed by MASH. Check out their EVO packaging too!

An important note to this design, and other Molly Dooker labels, some are applied sideways, is that the statistics of someone purchasing a bottle that they touch and pick off the shelf is 80% higher than if they do not touch the bottle.

That is the idea. If a consumer engages that bottle - the sale is that much closer.
