A WINE OF TRIBUTE TO A PURE LOVE THAT WILL LAST UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD

It was over six centuries ago that Coimbra witnessed the most beautiful and tragic love story of Portugal, lived between Dom Pedro and D. Inês de Castro. A love eternalized in Quinta das Lágrimas, which comes to honor him through a wine with harmony, elegance and remarkable complexity. The wine was produced by winemaker Carlos Lucas and the label design is signed by M&A Creative Agency. Quinta das Lágrimas, a renowned luxury hotel, is now a space dedicated to the wine cult and considered a true “wine destination hotel”. It would make no sense not to have a wine that would pay tribute to this greater love of the fourteenth century.

Thus came the red and white wine “Pedro & Inês”. In the design of the label and the capsule have been worked elements that represent history, such as the crown and a floral pattern, which are associated with royalty and love, highlighted by gold-stamping finish and serigraphic varnish. The handwritten calligraphy gives refinement and modernity.
