"Increasing concerns over water safety and the deeper pockets of Chinese consumers have led to a booming market," says Liao Lei, secretary-general of the natural mineral water committee for the China Mining Association. "With the improvement of living standards, more and more people want better quality drinking water, as well as safer options. Unlike in Western countries, tap water in China is undrinkable and has to be boiled before ingested." - China Daily

Most of the water brands you can buy in China are purified water. Kunlun Mountains Mineral Water (昆仑山雪山矿泉水) is one of the few Chinese water brands to dispense pure and mineral water in China.

This design project is made as a "tribute" for Kunlun, to demonstrate the value of this brand regarding its quality. The bottle could be distributed in restaurants, bars, or during special events.

What's Unique?
How to promote an healthy water in a better way, in a country where most of the water you can drink are purified?

This project is not just about making one more aluminum bottle, but looking how to promote one of the fewest Chinese water brand dispensing high quality natural water (Kunlun Mountain, 6000m). The bottle design also keeps the essence, identity and the proportion of Kunlun's traditional bottles, underlining the mountains profile all around it.
