    There is an overwhelming amount of stray dogs running loose in US, and only several care workers to rescue them. Over 90% of dogs picked up are euthanized. There are simply not enough resources, funding, rescue workers, foster homes or people who are willing to adopt.

    Laverne's Dog Bakery is a company that was founded in 2010, Minnesota, to help encourage no kill animal rescues. They had decided to expand their product line and they are starting with dog shampoo. Their new product is called Dirty Dogge, a line of unique pet products aimed to encourage consumers to rethink the problems of dog care, the welfare of unwanted and abandoned animals and to create a world where all companion animals find compassionate, permanent homes and to end animal cruelty also euthanasia.

    We come up with a label that will really help them stand out on an all-too-crowded shelf. The concept are the comic strips of dog shampoos. By packing with a comic which has an interesting story, A distinction is made between continuity strips which have continuous storylines with the same characters appears in different humorous situation will open opportunities for Laverne's Dog bakery to be a single player and succesful market pioneer in these field. Then the first consumer will buy the product and in the end they will feel curious about the continuation of the story in the comics strips which contained on the label of the bottle.

    A consumer who would be curious, will do a purchase order again. This concept design is used to lure consumers to do repeat orders.

    Dessert Adventure is an dessert shop specializing in European-Asian taste based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Its prime focus is mousse, pudding and mini cake. Inspired on the "adventure" image, the packaging box designed with a full illustration in each box side. The box is not  just for a dessert storage, but the package designed as well as a media promotion. It provides the consumer with clear and specific information (whether consciously or subconsciously).

    Each side of the package box contain a full information about the company profile, starts from menu list which written in flavor theme for all products, how to used, ingredients also how to get it, include social media page and contact number so the package its like" adventure box" for consumers. Doodle style used for the illustration with flat colors, flat style which popular trend these days. These design style able to make the logo more lively and fun while using only two colors,brown and tosca. The use of two type color are also saving in the production process. Color perception tends toward modern vintage but still provide an exclusive association of earthy ,natural ,healthy and  enhance it appeal. Tosca color commonly used on limited edition products. The green color itself is a favorite color for  Indonesia country where the largest Muslim population in the world.

    The copy writing also can not be separated from the " adventure" image, as the use of the word " Explore , S.O.S , Observe,etc ". The Taste of European-Asian image shown in famous building illustration. Overall the package box reached the ultimate goals, its stimulates the consumer to explore a variety of products, attract, to stand out among competitors, to avoid consumer confusion, stimulate interest awareness and affect a consumer's purchasing decision in the blink of an eye.

    The aim of this project is to create 4 pack design for a new premium Belgian Beer and to differentiate the label from other Belgian Beers. TUSSEN is a new brand for Premium Belgian Beer . It means in between in Dutch. The reason behind this name is to connect with people in society as a great companion. The use of fabric on label and the leather on the packaging is to make this new brand looks different and unique.

    Song Dynasty ,the original modern mooncake in different flavors. The 'ancient' design is inspired from an Chinese legend.

    Some legends suggest that mooncakes are from the Ming Dynasty, but in fact, there have been mooncakes recorded in history as early as the Song Dynasty. From here, certainly moon cakes have been popular and existed long before the Ming Dynasty stands.They used moon cakes to communicate secret messages which the messages were inserted into moon cakes.

    In the past,mooncake’s processes and stuff are forbidden to make know to the public. So the “Song Dynasty” mooncake packaging is like locked treasures box that waiting people to find the mysterious taste. Moreover, in China the traditional red stamp also can in stand for the secret. So, open the mooncake box is like discover a secret data. All too often, packaging needs up in landfills, or recycling bins at best. While we’d like people to keep it, use it and treasure it. The traditional Chinese calligraphy reflects the character of the antique age's Song Dynasty. This traditional form is a unique identity which can help people easily to identify this product is original Chinese. Each plastic box of mooncake is packaged in a wooden box –made of solid pine- with a wood-burned logo stamp in the top.The three boxes with three traditional moon cake flavoured: lotus seeds,green tea, and purple sweet potato.

    Curve Bakery is a homemade bakery that specializes in gluten free products. The bakery uses all natural ingredients including organic beans, soy, and nut flours for their baked goods.

    The brand, Woofy was born from the playfulness of being and having a dog,how washing your dog, alone or in company can be fun.Woofy comes in unique fire hydrant shaped bottles available in four vibrant colors was inspired by a dog shampoo must to be much different from humans shampoo.The special fire hydrant bottles were designed to make bathing a dog easier.The bottles feature a convenient pump system for easy use and makes applying the shampoo quick and easy.The packaging is made of 100% recyclable plastic.A eco-friendly design and illustrative graphics feature a large amount of fun behind this brand.

    Crispy Chips is a new brand of Hippies Snacks Indonesia. The activity of this company is manufacturing and packaging of organic food. Crispy Chips is a Potato chips, a Hippies Snacks's new product. Hippies Snacks takes care of human health and therefore produce chips without trans fats and added sea salt. For starters produced chips with two flavors: Onion garlic and Hot Chili Tomato. It’s recognizable, catchy and it stands out among all other snack bags, and brings extra fun for the parties!

    SoyMilk is a fresh flavoured Soy Milk products for kids which are free of artificial colorings and flavors.The children’s food or drink packagings are often very gaudy. SoyMilk stands out because development of 3 packs cute range of soy milk of fruit flavors, its providing simplicity and clarity of the result.is flavored soy milk.With the cute fruit characters, the packaging is interesting for the children also.The form doesn’t have any sharp edges which makes it child safe.This project was to create a eye catching cuteness design and would appeal to kids and at the same time say "healthy" to parents.

    Synesthesia: 100% Jellybeans with Feelings

    This is a project for The RMIT Communication Design 3rd Year Comittee 2012. The theme chosen for this project is Synesthesia.

    Synesthesia is the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body by stimulation of another sense or part of the body. The poetic description of a sense impression in terms of another sense, as in "a loud perfume" or a "an icy voice". - Apple's dictionary

    100% Jellybeans with Feelings is all made of handcrafted jellybeans. They produce two different taste: Sad and Envy. For example, Sad is made of 50gr of tears, a pinch of bad luck, and 20 hours of stress. You would feel darkness surround you and tears would fall from nowhere when eating Sad. Each artwork of the packaging visualizes the feelings of the tastes.

    Welfe is a jewellery brand. The design of its items are really unique and different than the others.

    We are asked to deliver two different size of containers, which are for ring and necklace/ bracelet.

    Here are the finish containers, it uses a black card for the inside packaging and the outer with clear polypropylene and a piece of wood to lock the whole thing with black thin elastic laces. The aim for it is to represent its uniqueness and sophistication of its brand.

    The main aim for this project is to create a new and fresh branding for a premium belgian beer as well as delivering the sense and signature of the brand itself.

    Kratzer is a German translation of scratch. It was chosen to deliver the message as it will make a mark to the consumers after they consume it and people will not forget its signature taste.

    ZEGE - Premium Belgian Beer

    Bottle and 4 pack design for a premium Belgian beer

    The aim was to differentiate the brand and packaging from other Belgian beers

    ZEGE is Dutch for victory. This premium Belgian beer was made to reminisce King Leopold's triumph.
    The label were designed to resemble a medal and the bottle adds a strong and elegant look to the brand.
    The labels were printed in cotton and sewed to hold it together. The wax seals were 3d printed using resin as the material.

    The four pack design reflects the king's chair with the quote laser printed on the wood: "Goûter à La Victoire" which means "Taste the victory".

    When DAYDREAM came to us inquiring for a toy packaging, we instantly think about a proper "house" for them. A packaging that looks and feels like a dog house where dog can relax and dream to its heart's desire, thus the theme "daydreaming". The toy itself is inspired by an actual dog named Nimbus. Because of its limited number of production (20 pcs), the packaging comes with numbered birth certificates.

    Welfe is a contemporary hand made jewelry design based in Melbourne. The texture of the packaging was inspired by the materials he used to make the jewelry and the form of the packaging resembles the shape of his jewelries. Since Welfe is a small business, the packaging is made easy to assemble and economical.

    The logo was given by Welfe and the jewelries in the photos are not from Welfe's collection.
