    Taiwan Centennial Blessing Tea Gift Set were carefully selected as four of Taiwan’s premium tea, and the package is surrounded by the four words (福祿壽囍FU-LU-SHOU-XI) of blessing to celebrate Taiwan’s centennial and the use of tea for Taiwanese people to express our sensibilities.

    The historical and artistically designed window decorations typify windows to the Taiwanese lifestyle between a century of culture inheritance and our innovative future.The patterns of these tea gift boxes are reminiscent of traditional imagery used in old Chinese architecture to adorn windows and lampshades. The detailed ornaments symbolise hope, wellness and prosperity as well as the joy of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China, Taiwan.

    The sophisticated packaging concept consists of an inner box, enveloped by an outer sleeve, containing tea leaves as well as cups. Thanks to its decorative patterning, the outer sleeve can also be used as a lantern. The four differentcoloured boxes are packaged together and can be carried with a delicate loop handle.

    With Pulao Chuang's meat balls and sausages, their ingredients are the onions and salted duck eggs from Checheng, a county in Pingtung city. This place is right well-known for the two ingredients. They taste good and good enough for you to tell they come from nowhere but Checheng. When we worked on the packaging, we tried hard to find out all the elements associated with Checheng. Old town, old map, aborigines, the peninsula in the southernmost Taiwan are all picked and put on the packaging. See, historically meaningful.

    In traditional Tung Kang culture, people bought the fresh seafood with a warping of the bamboo leaf and tied with a ribbon made of same material, It’s a natural and economy way to pack but also full of hospitality.

    Inspired from the traditional warping method, the sakura ice bar package is printed and textured to exactly resemble a bamboo leaf. We transform the bamboo leaf into the recyclable paper material and the ink is also Eco-friendly. The package presents the traditional and hospitality culture, moreover, it also remind people of the delicious sakura shrimps inside the ice bar.

    The Best of Kaohsiung, Longan Honey of Dagangshan” is the honey assessment brand of the Agriculture Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government. Through the unified packaging and designing, integrating the local agricultural resources, marketing the Longang Honey of Dagangshan.

    To make a good start and visibility, integrating the designing from the bottle to the carton packaging. By using the element of honeycomb hexagon that integrates into the designing, emphasize the resource of the pure honey. The hexagonal column glass blottle is decorated with relief lines of honeycomb. The Longang Honey filled in the crystal-clear glass bottle presents the high quality and the delicious flavor. The carton appears the unique hollow hexagon, the solid shape has both protection and presentation functions of the product. The design of the carton uses yellow for the ground with the black stripes, intensify the imagery of bees, the packaging shall be eye-catching and recognizable. Through the red and golden certified labels shows the class the products. The golden ribbon highlights and product, provide a higher sense of quality.

    By reforming the designing of the packaging image, assisting the upgrade of agriculture, promoting the brand value of the Longan Honey of Dagangshan.

    細品香茗, 台灣山頭凝聚的高冷茗茶滋味 - Taiwan High Mountain Tea

    In this series of six carefully selected Taiwan's famous high-altitude mountain top tea nurtured by appealing for "Lishan, Hsi-tou, Alishan, Acacia Hill, Yu Ling, Chilaishan" between the different altitude mountain the scattered escaping different tolerance, corresponding to a "maple, bamboo, cedar, plum, pine, lily" plants, but also the representatives of the "red-bellied tit, Tau birds, millet robins, burgundy Suzaku, Taiwan Xiaoying, gold Wing browed "six kinds of forest birds, so different natural ecological landscape, condensed in the cold forming characteristics of Taiwan's high tea, metamorphosis to create a distinctive taste throat rhyme tea.

    Doling Fonso, located in Guanmiau where people believe in Guan Yu and dedicate to local culture, launched the first pineapple gift box with Guan Yu’s righteous-look portrait on it.People heard about Guan Yu. He is a symbolic figure in the three kingdoms and well-known for excellence at fighting battles. The most famous battle he’d fought is he road an Akhal Teke, a horse breed, to war alone.

    Such fearless bravery is far beyond anything we could imagine, isn’t it.

    When TROONION Design got this case, we pictured it, tried as hard as possible to design it, and that’s the reason why you can see an Akhal Teke, a Green-Dragon Crescent-Moon saber, a red cloak and Guan Yu himself for sure on the packaging. It looks like as if a real person in a red cloak riding a horse and holding a saber tightly in his hand gets ready for a fight alone. Both Doling Fonso and its packaging are inspired by Guan Yu’s story. We are helping to recall each one’s memory about Guan Yu, meanwhile, we’re telling each one all the things about Doling Fonso. We think, for a new-born brand, it’ll be quite a way to make consumers remember it forever and ever.

    From inside to outside, live a nature lifestyle. Seeking balance between nature and human, we long for compliance with the Mother Earth. Cha Tzu Tang is a pioneering green brand from Taiwan, generating harmony between nature and life - hoping our aromatic tea seeds can slow down our daily pace.

    The concept of package comes from the work of young Taiwanese print artist, Rei JR Shiu. Shiu portrays the local and plain image with tension, whereas the branches are profusely covered with leaves, highlighting the tea seeds with active involvement of beasts to symbolize the endless nature. The use of traditional monochrome prints and composite materials present the handmade texture of products, an infusion and a collision of the modern and traditional thinking "From Inside to outside, live life in harmony with nature.

    “TECHADO”, located on Alishan’s hillside, is a brand and is selling Alishan Tea. After having built up the brand, to design a packaging to draw the attention of consumers is the next job. “TE”, out of TECHADO, in Chinese means railway. Alishan is well-known for its small trains, so “Te” naturally has something to do with them. About “CHADO”, it means the purest leaves. But about how to perfectly mix “Te” and “CHADO” to tell the brand story is our primary responsibility.

    Firstly we picked the small trains as the center in this project. Next we drew and put the same picture on each packaging even we know there are three different quality of leaves with different selling prices. Apart from this, we wrote a poem and had cherry blossom spread all over the can and you could see Alishan station’s mark, too. Taking out the vacuum bag from the can, you’ll see a number on the train. The number is the content volume. The longer you gaze the much realer you’ll feel the train is coming towards you. However, there’s one thing different. That’s the color. We use color to grade, but all the other things are associated with Alishan, which creates unity, amusement, and localization. And just because of this packaging, “TECHADO” has been leading in this market far more than the others.

    "Yang Potato-Zenf" is a famous sweet potato shop in Taiwan. Since they’ve got a great many competitors, they asked us to design a gift box for them to distinguish itself in this market. After getting this case, we’d been thinking about the connection between people and sweet potatoes. We remembered that when we were little kids, sweet potatoes were one of the foods we ate mostly.

    In the countryside, earth oven was a common way to bake potatoes. We often called out the neighbors and friends to come over to bake by using this way in the open space. When the potatoes were done, we ate together. If there were some left, we then used old newspapers that we wouldn’t read anymore to wrap a little and then handed them to the neighbors who didn’t join us. Passing through our hands, the enthusiasm and love, just like the heat of the potatoes, flew into our veins and made us warm. It “is” the story why we made the gift box look like an old newspaper. We hope it’ll not only recall you what you’d been through in the childhood like us but also make more people touched in the future.

    One of the beautiful insects that we’re enchanted by is butterflies. Each of them is dressed in unique clothing and dance through clusters of blossoms to mountainsides. The song, butterfly flies, that we heard and sang in the childhood reminds us once more of the carefree lives that we chased after them and tried to catch them. Now, they’re taking on the heavy responsibility of Taiwanese tea. Butterfly! Flies!

    The purest is the most difficult. Relishing travel conveys a promise of life inspired by the food. It not only inherits the glamour of the nature beauty of the land and the elegance of the farmers living with the sky, but also contains 30 years of handmade pride. In the little cubic space, we try to imitate the taste of the warm sunshine and the sour fruit flavor.

    Packaging to emphasize on reduction and brand characteristics at early stage have been gradually been established brand image basis and have been promoted successfully in overseas markets. Currently, to activate brand content and cut into fine gift market, this new type of gift box is launched. It extracts the elements of oriental paper-cut for window decoration and integrates the Western aesthetic style to design unique gift box appearance. When the lid is opened, light is printed in inner tracing paper through paper-cut for window decoration to form the beauty of plainness together with the case. Finally, it uses rare external paper packing method to transform the traditional cloth packaging image for gifts and embody the brand concept completely. Through each design details, it conveys the unique cultural experience. Furthermore, it reflects the honor and dedication in the packaging design to fit in with the wishes of presenting a gift.

    Les Bébés Cupcakery, the first cupcake speciality shop in Taiwan featuring mini size cupcakes, approached Accent to help create a joyous yet elegant brand image. Accent designed a clean rhythmic logotype reflecting the simplicity and elegance of the cupcakes. Inspired by frostings on the cupcakes, we then developed numerous patterns wonderful for packaging and interior decor. The different combinations of packaging and awide assortments of cupcake flavors makes any visit constantly fun and encourages people to share joy and laughter with loved ones.

    Packaging is essential to protect and identify Most products. Once the product is purchased, the package loses value and is often discarded.
    This is a wasteful practice and can be addressed Through a thoughtful design process that plans For re-purposing of the packaging.

    The aim is to reduce today’s packaging waste by providing alternative package designs that increase and provde reuse. UNIT, the online shoe and accessory store uses its packaging to ship, store and organize their products. This multi-functional packaging system creates a secondary use.

    1. Tear off the lid and remove the belt
    2. Locate the inner structure
    3. Pull and extend the structure
    4. Wrap the belt around the extended structure and organize it in closet

    Cherries Tea House is a tea shop in Tainan. It has been more than ten years since the shop opened in 2001. This June, the shopkeeper commissioned me to design a new corporate identity system for a series of package.

    We use indigo as the main color and arrange four patterns with different colors in groups. Hoping that we can build a exquisite feeling.

    The four straight lines on the patterns mean cherry's stem and straw. Stem is a part the image of cherry, and straw represents the drinking culture in Taiwan.

    According to my observation, there is no printer machine in the tea shop. They write down the order and it's difficult to mark up on the cup. So I designed this sticker to note the amount of ice and sugar of each drink. The entire ordering process doesn't change but it's easier to distinguish different drinks, the look of the cup also becomes better.
